    On the shores of Loch Sween, Daltote Equestrian Centre offers horse and pony riding for all ages and abilities. Based on a working farm, just twelve miles from Lochgilphead, the centre is easily accessible by road. Lessons, cross-country rides, trekking and show jumping are all available from the centre which features a 150 acre cross-country course, outdoor show jumping area and use of the surrounding countryside and hills. Approved by the Trekking and Riding Society of Scotland, the centre is staffed by qualified instructors.

    Lunga Riding Stables near Ardfern and Argyll Adventure at Inveraray also offer ride outs and lessons for beginners and experienced riders.
