The Square Peg has been trading in Lochgilphead, Argyll, for over 30 years! Over that time it has grown from small beginnings into five different departments:
No. 5 – which sells fine jewellery, pottery, glass, beauty products, hats, wood turnings, scarves and more unique gifts. Brand names like Coeur de Lion, Highland Stoneware, Radley, Aurora Orkney Jewellery, Charlie Bears; and local producers such as Wallis Hunter, Touchwood and Island Blue.
The Toy Shop – has a great selection of wooden toys – traditional as well as modern – and has lovely plush animals, books, vehicles, doll’s houses, puzzles, games, etc. Stockists of Penguin, Bruder, Jellycat, Ty, Think Pink, Papo, Orchard Toys, Galt and Siku.
No 11 – The Square Peg’s second gift shop sells more fun and quirky stock – hand-crafted art tiles, crystals, design-led mugs and ceramics, Splash, Gillian Kyle, The Big Tomato Company, and Thomas Joseph are just a few of the lines.
The Card Shop – carries a massive range of greetings cards, wrap and party products from some wonderful companies including Caroline Gardner, Five Dollar Shake, Woodmansterne, Tottering by, and Really Good
We carry many unique gifts from a great variety of suppliers. We have beautiful wood-turned products from ‘just up the glen’, to some of the very best design-led products from the UK’s premium suppliers.
