On a hill farm over-looking lovely Loch Awe, we offer self-catering accommodation in four holiday cottages in a lovely spot amidst the west highland scenery of loch, hill and mountain typical of Argyll.
Barn – sleeps 2
An upside down cottage enjoying a sunny situation with views over a hill field from the open plan kitchen/diner/living area upstairs and easy viewing of the night sky.
Stable – sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms)
Spacious open plan self-catering accommodation with elegant spiral staircase and full length windows framing beautiful views and sunsets over Loch Awe.
Barn and Stable were converted from an old farm steading and they are semi-detached and situated next to the farmhouse.
Barr-beithe Lower – sleeps 5 (3 bedrooms)
Surrounded by fields and a south facing view over Loch Awe that may be enjoyed from both the patio and the comfort of the sun lounge.
Barr-beithe Upper – sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms)
Set in a garden of heathers and azaleas, this self-catering holiday cottage enjoys lovely views over Loch Awe from the lounge, sunroom and the comfort of the master bedroom
The Farm
Blarghour has luing cows and traditional blackface sheep and guests are welcome to explore the farm to visit the waterfalls, old ruined settlements, the loch shore and to generally enjoy wildlife in the natural environment.
Small boats may be hired locally.
