Taynish, where the ancient oakwoods sweep down to the shore, where lichens and mosses form nature’s carpet and bog myrtle and heather grow together like old friends. The remnants of the past are still visible today, each holding their stories of the past as the otters and deer, the woodpeckers and wrens carry on with their daily chores. This is a truly magical place.
Information leaflets with maps are available at the car park at Taynish.
