Crinan Wood it is often described as a remnant of Scotland’s own rainforest. It is home to a vast variety of ferns and lichens and 24 species of bird. Spectacular views west to the Isle of Jura, east across the River Add estuary and the Moine Mhor and north to the mountains of the Isle of Mull. Duntrune Castle (private) perches impressively across the Loch.
Park at the car park next to the canal basin at Crinan.
